NEET Super Specialty (NEET SS) ২০২৫ পরীক্ষার ফল প্রকাশের প্রায় ছয় মাস অতিক্রান্ত হলেও এখনও পর্যন্ত কাউন্সেলিং প্রক্রিয়া শুরু হয়নি। দেশের অন্যতম কঠিন ও প্রতিযোগিতামূলক এই পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ হওয়ার পরও হাজার হাজার DM/MCh ও DrNB প্রার্থী আজ চরম অনিশ্চয়তার মধ্যে রয়েছেন।
একের পর এক আইনি জটিলতা ও প্রশাসনিক বিলম্বের ফলে শুধু পরীক্ষার্থীদের ব্যক্তিগত ও পেশাগত জীবনই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হচ্ছে না, এর প্রত্যক্ষ প্রভাব পড়ছে দেশের স্বাস্থ্যব্যবস্থার উপরও। সুপার-স্পেশালিটি প্রশিক্ষণ শুরু হতে বিলম্ব হওয়ায় দেশ মূল্যবান বিশেষজ্ঞ মানবসম্পদ থেকে বঞ্চিত হচ্ছে। বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসকের চাহিদা ক্রমবর্ধমান হলেও নতুন সুপার-স্পেশালিস্ট তৈরির প্রক্রিয়া কার্যত থমকে রয়েছে।
এই পরিস্থিতি আরও জটিল হয়েছে তামিলনাড়ুর ১৫১টি সুপার-স্পেশালিটি আসন অল ইন্ডিয়া কোটায় (AIQ) সমর্পণ সংক্রান্ত আইনি জটিলতার কারণে। মাননীয় সুপ্রিম কোর্টের স্পষ্ট নির্দেশ থাকা সত্ত্বেও রিভিউ পিটিশন দায়ের হওয়ায় সমগ্র কাউন্সেলিং প্রক্রিয়া পুনরায় অনিশ্চয়তার মুখে পড়েছে। এর ফলে দেশের হাজার হাজার সফল প্রার্থী অনির্দিষ্টকাল অপেক্ষা করতে বাধ্য হচ্ছেন।
এর পেছনে রয়েছে হাজার হাজার চিকিৎসকের দীর্ঘ প্রায় এক দশকের অধ্যবসায়, ত্যাগ ও কঠোর পরিশ্রম। পরীক্ষায় সফল হওয়ার পরও তাঁরা আজ আর্থিক, মানসিক ও পেশাগত অনিশ্চয়তার মধ্যে দিন কাটাচ্ছেন। অনেকের নিয়মিত আয়ের উৎস বন্ধ, বহু চিকিৎসক পারিবারিক ও সামাজিক চাপের সম্মুখীন, অথচ মেধার ভিত্তিতে অর্জিত প্রশিক্ষণ শুরু করার সুযোগ এখনও অধরাই।
এটি কেবল চিকিৎসকদের সমস্যা নয়; এটি দেশের চিকিৎসা শিক্ষা ও জনস্বাস্থ্যেরও একটি গুরুতর সংকট। প্রতি বছরের পুনরাবৃত্ত এই প্রশাসনিক বিলম্ব ভবিষ্যতের বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসক তৈরির প্রক্রিয়াকে ব্যাহত করছে এবং শেষ পর্যন্ত এর প্রভাব পড়ছে দেশের সাধারণ মানুষের স্বাস্থ্যপরিষেবার উপর।
ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল জুনিয়র ডক্টরস’ ফ্রন্ট (WBJDF) এই অযৌক্তিক বিলম্বের তীব্র প্রতিবাদ জানাচ্ছে এবং অবিলম্বে কার্যকর পদক্ষেপের দাবি জানাচ্ছে।
আমাদের দাবি:
• NEET SS ২০২৫ কাউন্সেলিং সংক্রান্ত সমস্ত আইনি ও প্রশাসনিক জটিলতার অবিলম্বে নিষ্পত্তি করতে হবে।
• মাননীয় সুপ্রিম কোর্টের নির্দেশ অনুযায়ী তামিলনাড়ুর ১৫১টি সুপার-স্পেশালিটি আসন দ্রুত অল ইন্ডিয়া কোটায় (AIQ) সমর্পণের প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন করতে হবে।
• MCC এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট সমস্ত কর্তৃপক্ষকে অবিলম্বে NEET SS ২০২৫ কাউন্সেলিং শুরু করতে হবে।
• কাউন্সেলিং, আসন বরাদ্দ, ভর্তি ও পোস্টিং দ্রুত সম্পন্ন করে যোগ্য প্রার্থীদের অবিলম্বে সুপার-স্পেশালিটি প্রশিক্ষণে যোগদানের সুযোগ নিশ্চিত করতে হবে।
দেশের স্বাস্থ্যব্যবস্থার প্রয়োজন আরও বেশি সংখ্যক দক্ষ সুপার-স্পেশালিস্ট। হাজার হাজার যোগ্য তরুণ চিকিৎসক দেশের সেবায় আত্মনিয়োগ করতে প্রস্তুত। প্রশাসনিক বিলম্বের কারণে তাঁদের প্রশিক্ষণ ও দেশের স্বাস্থ্যব্যবস্থাকে আর পিছিয়ে রাখা চলবে না।
আর বিলম্ব নয়। অবিলম্বে NEET SS ২০২৫ কাউন্সেলিং শুরু করতে হবে। দ্রুত কাউন্সেলিং, আসন বরাদ্দ, ভর্তি ও পোস্টিং সম্পন্ন করতে হবে।

The future of thousands of India’s brightest young doctors cannot be held hostage by endless administrative delays.
Nearly six months have passed since the declaration of the NEET Super Specialty (NEET SS) 2025 results. Yet, despite successfully clearing one of the country’s most competitive examinations, thousands of aspiring DM/MCh and DrNB candidates continue to remain in limbo as the counselling process has still not begun.
This prolonged delay, driven by repeated legal complications and administrative inaction, is not merely a crisis for individual doctors. It is a direct threat to India’s public healthcare system. Every day that superspeciality training remains stalled is another day the nation loses precious specialist manpower at a time when the demand for superspecialists continues to grow.
The situation has been further aggravated by the continued delay surrounding the surrender of 151 Super Specialty seats from Tamil Nadu to the All India Quota (AIQ). Despite clear directions from the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the filing of a Review Petition has once again pushed the entire counselling process into uncertainty, leaving thousands of successful candidates across the country waiting indefinitely.
Behind these delays are real lives. Doctors who have dedicated nearly a decade of relentless hard work and sacrifice now find themselves unemployed, financially distressed, mentally exhausted, and professionally stranded. Many have no stable source of income, face immense family and social pressures, and are forced to watch their careers remain on hold despite earning their place through merit.
This recurring administrative failure has become an annual crisis. It not only undermines the aspirations of young doctors but also weakens medical education, delays the availability of trained superspecialists, and ultimately compromises patient care across the country.
The West Bengal Junior Doctors’ Front (WBJDF) strongly condemns this unacceptable delay and demands immediate intervention.
Our Demands:
1. Immediate resolution of all legal and administrative obstacles delaying NEET SS 2025 counselling.
2. Expeditious implementation of the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s directions regarding the 151 Tamil Nadu Super Specialty seats under the All India Quota (AIQ).
3. Immediate commencement of the NEET SS 2025 counselling process by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and all concerned authorities.
4. Completion of counselling, seat allotment, admissions and postings without any further delay so that deserving candidates can begin their superspeciality training at the earliest.
India urgently needs specialist doctors. Thousands of qualified young physicians are ready to serve the nation. Their future cannot remain hostage to avoidable administrative and legal delays.
No more delays. Start NEET SS 2025 counselling immediately. Expedite seat allotment, admissions and postings at the earliest.
