উত্তরে লাভ ইমোজি আর ‘থ্যাঙ্ক ইউ’ বলা ছাড়া কিছুই করতে পারি না। কোনোদিন সেই অর্থে শিক্ষক হতে পারিনি বলে মন খারাপের একটা চিনচিনে ব্যথা থেকে যায়। কী আর করা যাবে! দুর্ভাগ্যজনক হলেও সত্যি, ডাক্তারি পড়েও চাকরির পদের মহিমায় জুনিয়র ভাই-বোনদের কাছে হাফ-ডাক্তার হাফ-শিক্ষক সেজে যতটা লজ্জা পাই, ততটা আর কিছুতেই পাই না। নিজের শিক্ষকদের কথাও মনে পড়ে। আর সেই লজ্জাতেই শিক্ষক দিবসের মেসেজ ফরোয়ার্ড করা হয় না।
এই নিয়ে কিছুদিন ভেবেছি, কিন্তু ফলাফল লবডঙ্কা! শিক্ষক-শিক্ষিকাদের বিভিন্ন বিষয় বিগত দিনে সামনে এসেছে। আরও বেশ কিছু সামাজিক ও অর্থনৈতিক বিষয় চোখের সামনে জ্বলজ্বল করছে। সব এড়িয়ে দিনের শুরুতে ডাক্তার, আর দিনের শেষে কাঁকড়া-বাঙালি সেজে ঘুমিয়ে পড়ি।
শেষমেশ আমার মতো ঘুমকাতুরে বাবা ভুল করে ঘুম ভাঙলে যেসব অপকর্ম করে, তারই একটি হলো এই পোস্টের বিষয়বস্তু।
